Looking for a good (FREE!) remote control app for tv, dvd, directv box for 700wx...

Anyone have any good ideas??

I tried a trial one of Novii on my 700wx last week. It worked, but only if I was a close enough distance, like about 2'. The problem is, I don't think the IR is strong enough. So if you don't mind being too close to the TV, remote control apps would work for you.

I tried the one posted above, and eventhough it seemed compatible with my phone (700w) the choices of TV's, VCR's......were pretty limited!! If there were more choices (maybe if there were a source to download more device codes????). Other than that, the program seems cool!!

Novi remote has a database and it also has a learning feature. Unfortunately, IR's are not that strong on the Treo's. It's useless, unless you don't mind being about an arms length from the device you want to control. Of course, then why use a remote?
