call block

just wondering is there a freeware program out there tp block unwanted calls or filter them out I don't like telemarketers calling late at night lol.. thanks

Well....the main problem with that is unless you know the numbers you want to block, you can't block them specifically. There are a couple things you can try though....either set your phones ringone for unknown callers to silent, but that may make you miss some you want. Another thing you could do is to break down and purchase a PhoneAlawm type of app and set up a profile for night, silencing unknown calls. I am attatching a link to a free callfirewall app from XDA Developers. You can give it a try, but unfortunalely it does boil down to you needing the numbers to block further calls from them!!!

thank u for the help fortunately I do the numbers so maybe the call firewall will help ill give it a try anything to block them will be a big help thanks again

I have the SPB phone suite which isn't free but its great...it has all the profiles..{silent, normal, loud, etc} along with face caller id & u can create whats called a Blacklist, Whitelist, or u can simply ignore All calls...the people u wanna block go in the blacklist...people u want to get in touch w/u @ a certain maybe like when ur sittin w/ur girl/wife, u add to the whitelist that way only who u want to talk to can get thru...
