Phone calls get missed too fast

I'm slowly being driven crazy by the way my 700wx is so slow to answer calls. If I don't hit answer almost immediately when I hear the first ring, I miss the call and it goes to voicemail. When I do answer after the first ring, callers tell me they've heard 3 or 4 rings. I've tested using my home phone to call the Treo and that's a fact. I hear at least a couple rings before the Treo ever rings.

Does anyone else have any experience with this? Is it my phone, the software I have on it perhaps, the network (Sprint)?

I believe that's a network issue. Perhaps a call to CS could help?
