VZW 700wx kills IM+, Agile Messenger?

My 700wx, from Verizon, LOVES to teminate IM+ and Agile Messenger, despite how many re-installs and soft resets, etc. It seems to be that when the Treo goes to sleep, or otherwise the data connection goes idle, it kills the messenger.

Is this an across-the-board VZW thing (which wouldn't surprise me)....... or, optimistically, can it be I have some faulty firmware??????????????

This NEVER happened with my Sprint 700wx. I would stay connected to IM+ all the time, idle or not, for hours on end.

It has nothing to do with your carrier but how WM works. Usually if the program does not install in the main memory (phone), when it goes to standby, usually it will not keep running, most of the time. If you want IM+ to stay alive, you should check out the setting about background and connection options.
