Cannot open links from outside the browser

Is this normal for my 700wx!?

I receive a link in an e-mail or rss feed, I tap on the link and it doesn't open or do anything, even if the IE browser is opened in the back. I even installed other browser, still doesn't open...;

I am very frustrated with issue and I couldn't find any reference about it, whether is a service issue or hardware issue, or WM issue... ;

I suggest making a sprite backup and then hard reset. don't install any software after the hard reset and see if the problem persists.

Did the hard reset on mine, restored functionality, thanks for advice Santos!!

So much for installing your browser of choice, unless this links association with IE can be figured out..;

Happy to hear you're working now.

I used to be all gung-ho installing any software on my Treo. Then it started acting up, BT not working, constant soft-resets b/c IE wouldn't work, etc. Now, I only install software AFTER making a Sprite Backup so I can go back to a working state very easily.

It's worth the extra 2 minutes and 2 soft resets instead of the hours to get my device back to the way it was manually.
