Starting camera.exe in video mode

Are there any known registry hacks or command line parameters to start camera.exe in video mode? I missed something good today fumbling with the menu to shoot a video. I have my side button assigned to open camera.exe but I was not quit fast enough for the video opp I had tonight.

Meant to add on edit: How can the backlight be turned off while shooting video. I already have the keys taken care of with keylight.exe.
