Themes

this may a simple tasks to some, but this being my first treo, how or where do i install new themes that i have either created or downloaded? please help happy holidays to all

Put them in
My Documents folder

i dunno... i guess nothing, but i just know when u put the in /windows they show up in the themes box on today settings appearance.. and thats where all the themes that come on the wx are put

Ive found the My doucuments folder very easy to manage themes.It saves waking the windows folder up then locating theme if no longer wanted on my ppc.For each his own I guess

ya i guess for each his own... i just know thats were the majority of us used i guess i never tried putting them newhere else. it is kinda a bitch to wait for the windows folder maybe ill put them in my docs from now one... thanks!

Just FYI you can put them on your storage care if you don't put them in a file, if you put them in a file the 700wx won't recognize the cabs as a theme. That's where I put all of mine to save space on my device

I went that direction before.It gave my today screen lag when visiting tomtom soft on the SD also limiting Sd card change when needed.

Just FYI themes are cab files and once loaded are installed to the windows directory. So if you load a theme you can thain deleate the cab loader and the theme will remain until the it is changed.
