any hacks to go straight to dial pad

when I push the green phone I want it to go straight to dial pad any way do do this? I dont want the previous calls and hwat not I just want it to go straight to the dial pad.

not sure if you know this, but you really dont need the dial pad. you can just use the black keys to dial out any number that you want. again not sure if this will help what you do.

I don't believe you can do remappings with the default Button settings. You will need a 3rd party app like AE Button Plus. Using that, you can remap the Green button to open Windows\PhoneDialer.exe (dialpad).

AE Button Plus always runs backgroud to slow you down and some of the mapping may not be intercepted properly so it is a mixed bag for me. You can down load a trial first.

I'm not a big fan of Button Plus myself.

If you're not using it for anything, you can create a shortcut in the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs directory of \Windows\phone.exe and assign it to the side button. Would be a press and hold but would be simple and easy to use.
