European Dates in Palm Treaded SMS Texts

Is it just me, or are the dates in the list of past text message/chats shown in the European date format of "dd/mm" instead of the US date format of "mm/dd"?

Is this something that can be changed?

you can change the date format in the settings area under regional settings

No....thats not it.....

All the rest of the programs are using the correct date, JUST the Palm SMS Threaded text portion is using the wrong date.

looking at mine and im using the beta 4 threaded sms app it shows the correct date format...12/10

Uuu... cant find it. Phone settings for reagin is set to US standard, no setting in palm massaging for this or am I missing something

Go to Start-Settings select System tab click on Regional Settings.

What region is selected and does the short date look ok there?

OK I think I have it, you have to go to reginal settings and look under date. Make sure the long date reads MMMM dd, yyyy Under Region it shows to be correct but check the date tab not just the Region.

You can try to override the shortdate format.

Try importing this reg file. It adds the following reg value.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides]
"SSDte"="M/d/yy"
