6245 / delivery error?

I'm quite confused, and I think wading through past posts on SMS/Threading has confused me even more.

Twice this week, I have received a text message from "6245" with the message "Delivery Error ... This is a warning message only you do not need to resend your message."

This message has come through hours after sending a text message. (I think it was a text message to my sister's e-mail account, which I've done a ton in the past with no errors.)

I tested the "text message-to-email" with my own e-mail account and didn't have any problems sending, replying or replying again, to and from my Treo's text messaging and my PCs e-mail.

What's going on? Any insight?

I was getting a message similar if not identical to yours, I can't remember the error code.

But, it was an old message I sent to a buddy on tmobile. And it was about a week old by the time I got it and it repeated for about a week, then suddenly disappeared. Looks like a ghost in the system.

This was also before I installed the SMS patch. Do you have it installed? If not, check the stickies for the DL link.
