Its just, after the change, if you change your global ringer (not each contacts ringer) you have to go into the registry and change a small setting, and everything will be fine.,


after doing the edit, and if you dont change your ringer; everything will also be fine.

I may give it a shot tonight then....the main thing I don't want to lose (now that we are in a dialer thread LOL) is the Palm recent call menu when you press the left menu button, but PhoneAlarm has a menu kinda like that (PA's has both in and outgoing calls where Palms is just outgoing). If PA still keeps the VoiceMail alert, I will go for it.

If I do the change I will let you know about the VM alert (the change doesn't do anything I can't UNdo!!!).

PS: The reg edit for the ringer is listed in the 'How-To' thread over at TreoCentral isn't it?

also, if it's not what you wanted, you can always change back with no harm, and no hard reset.

I was soooo close to doing it last night, but (and yes, I will admit this) in reading all the posts with the complaints, and problems, and I lost my nerve. I wish there was a way of seeing the dialer skins on that download page mentioned at TreoCentral. I did find one I kinda like, but I really like yours. I do have a question though.....most of the downloads are for both dialer AND themes. I use wisbar, and have my own wallpaper, so I don't want to change the theme, is there a dialer ONLY download (not sure if it has to be a CAB, all the others seemed to be though).
