notes no longer sync

Has anyone experienced a problem where the notes stop syncing? Everything else syncs just fine. I went into Activesync and clicked on Options to reselect notes thinking it had just become unchecked and the checkbox is gone! I can't put a check besides notes now. It used to sync just fine. In fact, I've got notes up to just a day or two ago that are syncronized. I haven't changed Outlook or added anything new to my Treo that I can think of. Can anyone think of a solution?

Well at least I'm not alone. I wish someone had a clue for this one. I'm not sure what to do about it.

Hmm what version of WM are you using? I am using version 5 and don't have the option to sync Notes. I only get Contacts, Calendar, E-mail, and Tasks.

I'm using WM5, Active Sync 4.5, Treo 700wx, Outlook 2003, Windows XP pro. I've always been able to sync notes until now. I've always used notes to carry important info around with me on my phone, such as medication lists, class schedules for my kids, shopping lists, etc. I really miss being able to sync them. I'm wondering if I back everything up, sync everything I can, and then hard reboot the phone and reload if I might get back my notes sync.
