I have the rotate screen function asigned to the hold side button and it work PERFECT with no glitch using the 1.1.0.90 beta version of sling media.When it comes to the animated icons- There was no sarcasm directed to you .I shared my thoughts on how I felt about them as we all do when it comes to hardware operation and software of are wx in these forums.easy does it malatesta heck..Look at my aviator hahahah slingbox dots dancing hahaha

lol, no no...I was being serious. The screen rotate feature (using AEB+) screws up Slingbox for me and I assumed it did for others too, hence why I thought you were joking. That and it's 240x240 no matter which way you view it, so it seemed funny to want to rotate!

Oh Ok Yes ofcouse it does not change the 240x240 size but the feel of viewing in the rotate view is more comfortable to the eyes in my opnion.The top and bottom of the wx viewing screen have nothing above or below.I know that may sound dumb but think of it this way.Your watching your tv at your home and it had a big speaker and sprint logo on top .Better yet if your girlfriend or wife collects knick knacks set them on top of your tv hahahaha.It pulls your line of site.I myself have baned them from my home tv viewing area
Try The side button hold rotate option.It does work outstanding with slingbox viewing (hmmmm If it,s messing up it may be due to your animated WP Icons.....just joking)

Hey! I have the WP animated icons too! :P

I guess they are just trying to keep up with other phones like the Samsung A900. I used to have it and it also had video ringer... never really used it.

I guess there's people that would, but who is really going to watch a video while the phone is ringing???

Back in the day I used to have video ringers of the people calling. If "john" called, a video would play of John saying "Pat, pick up the phone. What the hell are you doing, pick it up already, I have to tell you something!"

I thought I was cool. Now not so much...
