NFL Mobile

Just came up on this thread. I've been trying to get NFL Mobile from Sprint for the past week. My texts to 7777 were never returned. I could see the download page on Sprint's website when not logged in. However it would disappear when it knew it was me.

I finally called tech support at Sprint and her said that WM5 and the Treo 700wx were not supported (even though the 700wx, Moto Q, etc where listed as supported devices). He said Palm and WM 6 only. I complained that it was supposed to be included in my Vision Access Pack but he said too bad: not all devices get all the features.

Then I saw just saw thus thread, installed the cab but when I I launch it I get this from the nfl07.mspot.com web site: You are not authorized to run Sprint NFL Mobile.

Anyone?

I do not know if this already has been posted. If you text NFL to 7777, it will send back download link to NFLMobileCab.cab and it works on Treo. Just make sure that your PIE does not have the IE6 hack as the site expects it is a mobile version. I assume this will work on other PPC as well.

this didn't work for me either, it gave me a link to go to a website but there was nothing to install. It was an NFL website, it wouldn't let me click on any of the buttons either

This is very handy and ha salways worked for me...UNTIL I flashed to a none stock rom. Im runnin ddc clean rom and now it doesnt work. Maybe the site checks something that tells it you are on sprint and THAT "thing" is missing in custom ROMs. just a thought.

Well....

As much as I like football... just not into NY or the Pats... so until next season this may not get much attention in here? And two weeks from now I would be surprised to see it get any attention.

But would be nice to have next year.
