I'm still skeptical, but the Pre fulfills my basic daily smart phone needs. There isn't one feature that I need that's "missing" right now. Not to mention that it's a 100x better than than my previous 3 WinMo phones.

I totally and 100% agree that webOS is hugely better then the current crop of WM OS. Now if WM can incorporate their ZuneHD operating system into a phone then I might be tempted to try WM again.

I dont understand.. What do you mean by basic smartphone needs? If it fulfills everything u require out of a smartphone what are you skeptical about??

As far as basic needs, I'm talking about under general day to day operations, the phone does everything I need it to do. Like, exchange sync, email, calendar, phone and eBooks. On the other hand WebOS still has a ways to go. While I generally like the UI, it's laggy at times. Every so often I open my email and have to wait sometimes as much as 60 seconds for it to come up.There's no app to edit MS office documents. You can only view mp4 of video files. The games are really crappy, although gaming on a phone isn't that important to me. Palm still has a lot of work to do.
