webos 1.3.5 coming in mid december?

I was thinking this myself.. I mean its like the pre averages at least one update a month. I figured the last one came on something like the 17th of nov. so how about another on or around that date?? I was hoping for something a little more significant as a christmas gift:mrgreen:. On top of that palm did promise video recording, the app limit fix and a couple of other fixes before the end of the year right?? So maybe another update after this one to unlock the pre's true power?? What do you guys think/hope will happen in the next 30 days?? O and here's the link....http://www.precentral.net/rumor-webo...g-mid-december

1.3.5 doesn't inspire me to believe that it will be much of an update. Was hoping the app limit would be fixed. I would love to support the developers... but I just can't afford to delete anymore programs.

I wish they would allow users the option not to update the device on every subversion release. I can see the need to upgrade full version updates or even a sub of x.x but I would like to wait on 1.3.x until I see a significant change.

1.3.2 came out last night for the Pixi. Supposedly it's just to optimize the Pixi processor.\

You should look into MvApp. It basically moves apps from the limited /var partition to the /media partition and then uses symbolic links to keep the app working properly. It's not for the faint of heart but it's fairly straight forward.

Depends on which 30 apps you have installed, as the limit is based on file size rather than number of apps.

+1 for MvApp.....I've been using it since it first came out and haven't received the "too many apps" warning message since.

The way it's configured now you just select "yes" or "no" to the apps you want to move and it does all the work for you.

It's official, the app limit space restriction will be lifted once 1.3.5 comes out.

http://www.precentral.net/webos-135-...pp-space-limit

The fix is to move the apps over the larger (7 gb) /media partition and then encrypt the folder when the Pre is in USB mode. Interestingly enough the Internalz app can see the folder after USB mode is disconnected.

You know I was a bit skeptical when I first got my Pre. It seemed so many things were missing. But I've stuck with it and I couldn't be happier. Between Homebrew Apps, Tweaks, and no the updates to WebOS this phone seems to be evolving quite nicely. I trust Palm will keep the updates coming at the current rate.
