Verizon get Palm Pre

Verizon gets the new toy in December of 09, I thought Sprint extended it to March of 2010.....but I haven’t heard anymore of that...
Guess we have to watch and see what happens.

Rumor has it the Verizon device will have some modifications. good or bad I don’t know.
If you want it cheaper you will cut things out to gain sales but loose functionality. If moding the hardware and ...... well whatever we will see what happens.

figures, I was talking to a Verizon rep and they said 6 months. so from launch they said it would actually be Dec 6. but I recalled sprints statement was till end of 09 and as well extending the deal for another’s few months, making it Feb. to march. seems no one has a actual date yet....

But either way I am just spreading the good new that I hear.

They wouldnt make it better.....theyll dumb it down and raise the price. Stupid verizon

I heard one good thing...removable memory, but less ram and processor.

But thats a verizon rummor, i wasnt going to post it, but owell gotta have some fun.

Don't hold your breath on the Palm Pre coming to Verizon. A minimum of 6 months and it still would have to go through contract agreements with Palm blah blah. Even if that was to happen, by the time Verizon finished molesting the Palm Pre it would be hardly worth having. (Slower processor, less memory, possibly locked gps, etc). Who would even want it if it was anything less than the Sprint version?

I just checked with 2 different customer sales agents on the phone they both said palm pre in january...
so it is very possible at least to vzw

VZW IS getting the pre in january... talked to a Palm Rep a week ago and he said "vzw JUST won the rights to the pre, like yesterday, so you'll see it in january on vzw"

He also said there will be no changes to the phone (no expandable memory, no bigger screen, no nothing), vzw is getting THE Palm Pre. The ONLY thing they will change is that the slide mechanism will have something similar to "Tracks" to eliminate the Oreo-Effect.
