Media sync and usb device not staying synced

I just got my pre yesterday and decided to put music on it. I tried first through the usb device option, it work but stopped twice and said it couldn't find the song. I disconnected and reconnected and it was fine.

I tried through itunes and it said the same thing when I tried to import a playlist. It did this twice and I noticed I received two textes. Could it ve incoming calls or texts stop the sync?

When you are in either USB or Media Sync mode you should not be able to send or receive texts or phone calls and data on your device should also automatically disable so that should not be the issue. What version of WebOS are you running? What are you using to sync music?

I'm running 1.1 and using itunes to sync my music. I'm trying to recreate my problem wheever I can get ahold of another phone to text mine with

You can send an email to text. Your text address will be your ten digit phone number @messaging.sprintpcs.com. Or you can send a text from the Sprint Website.
