List for icons to be used while texting?

Is there a list that shows the types of faces you can make for texting? For instance a colon and a parentheses makes a smile face and the opposite makes a frown face. If you use a semi-colon it does a wink face. What are the other ways to make faces. Supposedly the pre can do more but I dont know which ones besides the ones I have mentioned.
