I can still see a lot of advantages to WinMO. I personally love what the Pre does right enough that I can ignore some of the omissions, but that's just me.

I've had my Pre since laun.ch day and left my W6.5 T-Pro int he box since.
As Mike said this phone works.
While there's thing missing that was on the T-Pro there's things I couldn't get working 100%.
The phone connects to my bluetooth devices when I walk in range of then CONSISTeNTLY.
Push email and the browser is awesome.
The other stuff will be handled in time I'm sure, but at the same time my T-Pro hasn't made it to craigslist. Yet.

the pre is already more reliable than my touch pro, and i'm sure it will just get better with time the way palm is putting out updates
