Re: Pre Reset on its Own

yeah, this happened on my girlfriends pre constantly not to mention the lower part of the screen where you touch to add contacts was non responsive! but the sprint store did the right thing and gave her a new one which so far hasnt shown any signs of the previous issues.

Went to the store today and they are ordering a replacement. Hope its not a re-furbished unit. They said they didn't know whether it will be or not. I also didn't mention to you all that there's been a dead pixel the whole time, wasn't a biggie though.

Thanks, I will. So long as its only the battery, I also wasn't in a hurry to buy another skin to go over the Pre, either.

What kind of skin are you using Invisible shield or etc...? If it has a lifetime warranty they will replace it with a new one...Just remove it and apply it to a sheet of paper of something and take it to dealer etc...And they will exchange it for new one, just pay for installation...

ps.no power cycling here...

Thanks, I didn't know. That's exactly what I'll do.

Re: Pre Reset on its Own

It did it again this morning. I picked up my Pre from the Touchstone and as I was getting ready to switch to the launcher it locked up. I was not able to do anything with it so I was about to flip it over to remove the battery cover when the frozen screen went to the Palm startup screen. Seems to be working fine since then. I also had already done the WebOS 1.1 update on 7/23.
