Pre Browser crippled

I got my Pre on saturday and have been playing around with it. However, I have noticed that the Pre's internet browser is very limited in its functionality. For example, it wont let you download files, or upload files. Instead it will stream the file if possible. Also it wont let you copy and save pictures from the internet to your phone. I hope that there is an update to fix this or that palm allows other Devs to make other browsers.

Yeah, this is one of the biggest issues I have with the phone... no "Save Image as..." sort of stuff. Also, the formatting is a little odd. All are known issues so yeah, I am with you.... hopefully they are fixed soon

I am optimistic based on how things are going so far.

Yeah, but I can only use it through wifi now

and I have it for sale

remember, webOS is new, im sure there will be other browsers coming in the near future that will address this stuff
