Maybe the Touch Pro2 will be on Sprint.com by the time I get the call to come pick up the Prē.
I got lucky, I was walking past a Radio Shack in the Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC at about 10 mins to open, and noone was there, so I was first in and out in about 20 mins. There were only about 10 peeps behind me.

I got me a palm pre too. I traded in my touch pro for it. I still have two phones, but I have the palm pro as my window base phone...I still need my window apps... Lol to me both of the palm pre and pro are much better phones than the touch pro or HTC model phones. they are both clearer talk phones and the battery life is so much better. I am really so glad that ppcgeeks decided to include palm pre on this site because I was really scared that I would have to find another site for info. Thanks ppcgeeks for allowing the palm pre phone on this site... PS, I love love the palm pre... although it does has some set backs... but the palm pro picks up where the palm pre lacks...

Hit the thanks!
Yea I went and played with it to. It felt cheap. The fact that you can't tether it for internet is the biggest show stopper for me and it was slower then my TP. Still needs work some of the things are cool though. I will wait for the TP2

Re: Got my Pre!

I have to agree here with the "Cheap" feeling. I went to look at one today after work and boy was it flimsy feeling. The keyboard sucks too. I have medium sized hands and I was mistyping every 5th letter or so. The keyboard size reminded me of the small centrino keyboard (which also was a peice of garbage to use) but it was perfect for my wife who has really small hands. Waiting for the TP2!

Re: Got my Pre!

I picked mine up sat morning. I real love the true picturemail but i don't like the fact that you can only send one pic at a time. there's something else i noticed and that is you can't add a signature to your text. but other then that its a great phone considering its a palm. I still have my tp and diamond sitting on my desk though

Re: Got my Pre!

I think the one important detail to keep in mind is that, hopefully, with third party apps and Web OS updates this phone will only improve, unlike the crap Instinct. This phone is already 100 times better than the Instinct.

thats funny lol...cus the Palm Pro is actually made and produced by HTC lol.... palm is hurting but with this release of the Pre it has help. though we here on PPCGEEKS have very high standards, your regular user is lovin the Pre it has a cool factor. but useability like most new phones is limited right now. but the TP2 does seem like the better choice. just put the phones side by side.

I would really like to like this phone. I like Roger McNamee and I would like to get on board, but they are not carrying them in any Sprint store within 50 miles of me so I haven't been able to check them out.

I'm in DC next week so I will try to find one then.
