you can't because even after the the meta-doctor, there are files you need from the scripts to copy into the phone via terminal or webos quick install.

Just an idea, but it is possiable to meta doctor 2.1, and to enter the prpoer files, however leave space holders for the files that may vary from phone to phone? Just an idea.

even if you could, how would you replace those empty spots? you still need terminal.

i think uploading some files will work. i used the cygwin method i got over here.

once you get cygwin installed, the rest is really simple and runs automatically.

Ok, Thank You. Ive got the Meta- Doctor 2.1 n also Sprint Nav working. Ive got the filrs for Flash, but im not sure how to install them, or in general what to do with them. Ive tried using a ipk Packager, and i cant figure out how to zip the files to command line(if that makes sense, all my files r in original format). Any suggestions?

I've just found the Flash Ipk package and installed it through Preware. Now Flash is slow but works on my Sprint Pre 2.1. Sprint Nav, n Flash now both Successful installed.

which doctor did you use for your sprint pre to get the navigation working?

and were you able to keep your palm profile?

i use sprint navigator all the time so its sort of a must for me to have if i'm going to doctor up from 1.45

The Sprint Nav came from The Nova BarleyWine Leaked 2.1 Rom. It works fine as long as you enter the Command line for it after the installation. For further info you may wish to checkout Central forum, Anyone get Sprint Nav Working on 2.1.

I can say that once the setup is complete it is a great piece of a updated app.

If Ur going to go to do 2.1, there's a few step
s. I recremend checking out Sprint 2.1 upgrade Simplified also in the Precental.net forums. You will create a Sprint 2.1 Metadoctor. After basic setup it will autocompile everything. Follow the directions and all will be fine
