Is it me....?
Is it me or has this forum gone scary quiet? Since the latest update dropped and the announcement of HP buying Palm, seems like all I hear are crickets chirping. Seems the likes of engadget and others are singing the praises of Android devices and very little about Palm or webos. I for one hope this is just a temporary condition. I love my Sprint Pre. I bought it the day it hit the streets. The questions I have are, what is the future of the original Pre? When will the next update hit, and will our original Pre's be fully supported? Will we be left holding a device that has reached its end of life? Thank goodness for Homebrewer. May be time for a Pre or Palm device running Android. What do you think?

Just my thoughts.

We have a small but strong base of Pre/Pixi users here...so don't be discouraged. If you keep tabs on PreCentral.net you'll see that we're alive and well!!

You know it may seem quiet but I can tell you I am happy with the state of my Pre right now and don't feel I need to look at enhancing the OS much further. I was never like this with my WinMo device and found myself constantly making changes to it.

Or constantly rebooting...or wishing you could easily switch between running applications...or wanting elegant notification, etc.

The Pre isn't new anymore and has lost some of its 'wow' factor, especially with all of these new Android devices about to hit the market.

Hopefully with the AT&T launch it will help a bit, but I don't see it being WOW again until they release a new phone.
