gmail not working

My gmail will not refresh. When I go into my inbox there is a yellow caution sign that displays to the right of the unread mail message counter at the top right.

When I try to click on the caution sign it just tells me last update time and total emails.

I have tried deleting the account and starting fresh but this problem keeps happening.

Has anyone else come across this or know how to fix it?

I get that occasionally with my Verizon email account. I've done the same thing as you have (delete the account and then create a new Verizon account). That has solved the problem in the past but not every time.

Sometimes just rebooting the phone will solve the problem.

Sometimes it just solves itself.

So....my answer to you is, I don't know what solves it.

my friend with a pre also had this issue, ill give him this great advice. lol actually happens on my tp2 and all is setup fine but theres no acc. in tf so i try to setup again and it says acc. is active. lol

I've had the same problem from time to time. Sometimes deleting and adding again fixes. Sometimes several resets work. The last time it took three hard resets to fix. Life in the PreLane (slowly makes you lose your mind)!
