Desktop Sync Solution For Pre?

Folk, I come for a long line of WinMo phones, Treo's, Mogul, Touch, and Touch Pro. One of the things I really miss is the ability to sync my contacts, calendars, etc, from my desktop using Microsoft Active Sync. I loved it and really miss it. I know there are a couple of syncing solution for the Pre that you have to pay a one time fee to use, but active sync was free. I know I can sync via Yahoo, Gmail etc, but I want to be able to sync to my desktop Outlook account. Does such a solution like Activesync exist for the Pre. Apologiizing in advance if this is being discussed in another forum. Thanks.

Not that I know of. Why not just export your Outlook to Google and sync that way?

Sounds good. Is this easy to do? Is there a procedure somewhere I could follow? Sorry for all the noob questions. Thanks.

+1 If you really must sync with Outlook on a regular basis you can spend some $$ and buy Chapura's Pocket Mirror. The free version worked great when it was available. You can even sync off of your wireless network.

Re: Desktop Sync Solution For Pre?

CompanionLink has a version for syncing PRE with Outlook via USB Cable. Work great! Even syncs Outlook Notes into seperate Pre Notes application! See: http://www.companionlink.com/usbsync/index.html
