V8 Update:

Added Nitrogen panel With Working Buttons (you can move to next song go back to previous song and play and paue right from the today screen)
Change the look of the Clock a little
Added JML Panex 2.10 (in program Files)
Change the order of the panels a bit this is the ideal Set for this rom your more than welcome to move things around but please keep Cmanilamenu and Cnitrogen where the in the order of things. if you move them you will have to change the Offset in JMLpanex so the buttons will work.

This is the first time I'm trying one of your ROMs. I have to say this one looks and feels real nice. I like your use of Titanium. I may just have to turn off MS3 for a bit.

I have noticed with the last few ROM's I have loaded that when I install to MyStorage the icons don't show after a soft reset. Just a black generic icon. I have done a hard reset on my storage and it still happens. Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem.

EDIT: Anyone find the WiFi? It is not showing up and I cannot find the WLAN loader program to fix it.

Yeah...that happens. I say, forget about the winmo com manager. Use HTC Comm Manager. Things never disappear, everything works and it's all very simple. PLUS, built in WiFi Router!

I removed the icon, if you want finger mouse to pop up a mapped it to the main meny button long hold!


as far as wifi missing sometimes here is an easy fix!

go to settings/power settings/tab of to wifi and togle the wifi power saving mode! that fixes it every time!!!

Just Checking...
Maybe it is something that I have installed, but 3 times now, the phone has not let me unlock. I have mine set to lock on wakeup. And only the power button will wake it up.

So on the lock screen, I can slide it back and forth, but it will not unlock. It happened the 1st time, I had just recieved a txt message, but could not unlock it to check it. The second time, I just needed to make a call, but it would not unlock, and the last time, it happened, I just put the phone down to see if it would unlock with time... Gave it about 10 min, and same result. I tried calling it with the land line, and I am able to recieve a call. After the call, the phone was still locked(as expected), and can not unlock it.

In each case, I had to remove the batterey to get back up and running.

Anyone else have this problem?

Can yours or any other themes be used with this rom? tried on last rom it things worked but looked like stock rom in menus etc. just asking before trying. if not are you working on any for this new rom? i just like to change it up once in awile.

Bgill, when are you releasing that new rom? I just flashed to your Neo 3.0 and love and, then read you're coming out with a new release and bout crapped myself! You've come a long way with cooking your ROMs and do a fantastic job! Keep it up man. I await your new release!

Vudugan....you will not be disappointed if you just to Bgill's ROMs...they are great!!!! Fast, sturdy, reliable, and he offers great support!! I tried a few others when Adryn stopped cooking and I think Bgill's are a great 'next step'!!!

Actually it was Bgill's 6.1 ROM over on Howard Forums that I had first ever tried the whole flashing option and I was amazed then. The one that he is working on now just looks too fun and I will be waiting here to snatch it up!!! :headbang:

Hi all.

I am now on v3.0.

I have to say that your roms are great!!!1

Now a question.

Is thier a way to always lock the phone when the phone starts ringing?

I have a problem, I mentioned a few posts back.... Occasionally, my phone will not unlock.. In other words, I press the power button, the screen comes on, and awaits you to slide the unlock thingey... I can slide it back and forth, but it will not unlock. Given, that no-one commented, I must be the only person with this problem.

The only time I need the phone to be locked, is when it is in my pocket, and it recieves something, that would make it come on. For example; The phone is "off" and in my pocket. it starts ringing, the phone turns on, while reaching in my pocket to get it, I am unknowingly pushing things on the screen. Now ordinarily, I would have it set to lock on power on. But I have to pull the baterey, in order to unlock it, when it decides to not unlock.

Thanks for any ideas.

Lovin this Bgill! I put up a screen shot of the cmanilamenu for kane to look at. Last time i had this problem, he fixed it by adjusting the color_code_chec.mscr file. Do you know mortscript?

I just installed the 3.1. Awesome ROM. The theme is slick. I am just not a fan of the keyboard. How can I install a new one? I am also looking for a classic ring tone. Thanks for the info.

what keyboard are you looking for? the Samsung keyboard is in the rom as well just hold down on the keyboard logo in the bottom taskbar and options will popup! I have included all stock ringtones in this release as well!

I havent had one lock up for almost 5 builds now are you backing up and setting or what are you installing after flash???

Yeah, you are definately doing something wrong. I have never had a lockup with Bgills ROM's. When changing a ROM, don't backup anything other than PIM stuff (contacts, calendar, tasks)
