I am looking for the keyboard which blazing wolf uses in his latest rom WM7, 23053 build. I am not sure which it is. I am looking for the old rotary phone ring tone. I cannot seem to find it anywhere. All help is greatly appreciated.

im not sure what keyboard he is using. you should ask him he might have a cab for it!

There are different versions of this keyboards floating around. BW made a cab of the pop up version of the black keyboard I made. If Bgill's version does not have the pop up version of the keyboard and that is what you want, post back and I can get it to you.

I have hard reset the MyStorage and loaded all my programs from scratch and I am still getting black folders instead of the icons in the start menu. This only happens to the programs that are loaded to MyStorage. If I load to device then the icons show up fine. This has happened with the last two releases of BGill's ROMS as well as BW's last few ROMS. Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong or how to fix this? I also tried loading MS 3.5 over this ROM to see if the same would happen but the icons showed up fine.

This happened to me a couple of times, and it was with other people's ROMS. It isnt the ROMS, trust me. Here is what you do. Set your connections to Mass Storage Mode, and to My Storage. Then copy everything that is on My Storage to your computer. After you do that, format the storage using windows. So like if your phone shows up as the E: drive when you plug it in, go to My Computer, right click on the E: drive, and choose format. After the format is done, put back everything onto My Storage that you had backed up to the computer. Unplug the phone and soft reset, and your icons will be back.

Bgill, I'm having a hard time loading this in UMDL. I download the 4shared link, and use 7zip to extract it to the same folder, I open UMDL, click PDA and the file I downloaded (The new 3.1) isn't there. What's the issue?

Are you navigating to the file within a folder? 7zip will unpack the ROM file into a folder of the same name, so if you unpack it to the desktop you should have to go to something like this: Desktop --> ROMxxx (folder) --> ROMxxx (file to load into UMDL)

Excellent ROM, no issues whatsoever.
Does everybody else know about that "Showcase" task manager? I found it on the other site. All I know is, once you install it, your programs will CLOSE and EXIT when you tap the x. A must-have cab for these newer builds. Thanks, Bgill, very nice work!

Ok either im missing something or the alignment on this phone is getting worse (currently downloading cf03 from Verizon again since i can't find any optional links) When I hit the button under the clock on the V.31 i get the wireless manager logo but how do i open it? do i have to hit Settings on the bottom right and then go through the subtitles?

Hit the icon again or press on the directional button at the bottom.

Yea none of that worked, only response i got from screen was swiping to the next option but pressing the screen anywhere did not work.

I am currently trying to redo cf03 and it just hung for over 20minutes.. I am about to retry..

If anyone know of a XP cf03 link, other than the Upgrade tool from the Verizon site, Please post it!!

So, you're on a panel and you want to select the item in the current panel? You have to tap on the icon for the panel you are on on the left of the screen. With my phone, i have to actually tap on the screen edge to get it to work, otherwise you can press the mouse/directional button to select the panel item.

Yea i can grab the panel I want, so lets say I want to turn BT on.. I highlight the panel and the WI-FI manager is the first on screen item to appear right? ok! So if i hit the wi-fi picture that is taking up the screen it should open the BT,WI,Phone option correct? But it doesn't....

Ok, it's clinks, I changed my order...
Here's the problem, you can't hit the WiFi picture anymore, that has been disabled. You have to hit the icon on the left, it's grey with a blue slider looking thing on the top that says "on". Tap that and it will bring up the wireless manager.

Somebody help meeee !!!!

I want to know if this ROM works to stick AN NAI settings to get EVDO in my country, I've searching for a while and I can't find a ROM or a fix, I've using Samsung PST, Samsung PST Lite, QPST... and nothing works for that, the problem is that AN NAI values always reverts to MDN@vzw3g.com.

I don't back up anything.. I use sashimi, xda_uc, myphone, and google sync.

May I ask why the Samsung Dialer now has a scroll bar in it? It seems like the dialer got longer or there is less room somehow. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you!

haven't flashed since adryn released his 4.0 MS rom, just flashed to yours and its great so far, loving the new bigger menu's etc. seems snappier too, only issue i've seen is when enabling "location on" in the gps settings the ok button to get out the screen didnt work, easily worked around by hitting the end button though, great job on this, with the new MS 3.5 its smooth as glass

The ok button is a problem with all the new 6.5 builds, all the newer ROMs have it. Luckily it only happens on the settings that you usually only have to set once and leave alone, and you can just soft reset instead of pressing ok and they stick. Im dying to try this ROM out, Im on Blazingwolf's now, and Im enjoying the heck out of it, but this will be my next one fo sho!

I also have the top hardware key mapped to ok/close so after you set your settings hit that top button and that will take you out of that setting

Question Bgill..... Is there any way that when you lock the phone using the stuff that comes with the ROM, to keep the screen at full brightness and not dim until it's unlocked again? It's hard to see especially outside!

when locked press and hold the end key that will brighten the screen and still stayed locked!

That works, but is there a way to keep it brightened like that? It's gonna get old having to hold down the end key everytime I want it bright! lol

Battery isn't the problem, cuz it will only light up when I hit one of the front buttons or the top power button. I mostly want it for checking the time when I hit a front button. It's hard to see outside. So there's no way to maybe include that as an option in your next build?

I can't find the three WMP skins listed, only the default. Another question, does this have the 23420 contacts/outlook update? Thanks, Bill

Thats Cause the are Nitrogen skins8-[ not built in but i provided a cab somewhere I forget! Ill see where its at and if it isnt here ill post it!

My bad... :read: there are no custom skins for the WMP. just the default. I did get the Nitrogen skins. Sorry :-k
