I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. Where is this "menu" with the Default IM?
Thanks.

Not sure about 23529, it may already be in your start menu, It looks like a square white box.
I use 28230 and this cab file puts the app in the start menu.
It helps to have the keyboard of choice allready selected when you use the app.

thanks for the answer. i couldnt get it to work, but i think im going to go back to windows mobile 6.5. 6.5.3 just doesnt seem to play too nice with spb mobile shell and i hate the fact that "ok" no longer actually closes the application. i do like the space on liorytes roms so if you have any suggestion for a good 6.5 rom from him i'd appreciate it.

sheesh...that sucked writing that with the default keyboard!

28223 was a rock solid ROM.
ShowcaseSuite-1.1.0 works great for closing apps.
You just have to change a setting in the registry.
I'm running MS 3.5.3
SPB Time 3.2
Resco 2010 Beta3 with Today from the trial.
PocketDigitalClock 1.1.10 with the HelvLight font set to 73.
And Ageye GAlarm 2.3
And everything works well together.
This will have to hold me over until I can figure out the workings of that new UI kitchen...

First I would just like to say that I love all of the work you have done. Your ROMs always seem stable and snappy. But I noticed that in your latest ROM all of the ringtones from windows/rings are gone. Can you please upload a compressed file of the standard rings to the site so I can get back my old ringer?

Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the info, but the problem I'm having with the ROM isn't that it's not solid, but that 6.5.3 and SPB (which I love) conflict. Maybe there are settings to fix the problems...specifically, there's the drop down apron at the top of the screen that irritates me (I'm often moving to the top of the screen and never want the apron to show up). Also, there's a faint bar at the bottom which isn't causing problems but it annoying.

I tried ShowcaseSuite and it was alright, but I just don't like the fact that I still have to manually close the apps rather than the ok button closing them like it did in WM6.5. When you say there's a registry change, what is the change for?

I suppose when some chef gets WM 7 out for the omnia *crosses fingers and hopes* I might be more willing to drop SPB. However, I just like the ability to customize multiple screens too much to drop it. I never could get into Titanium although it is better than Today.

I might try to find one of Lioryte's 6.5 ROMs and try one of those unless somebody knows of any way to fix those problems I'm having in 6.5.3.

Thanks.

Re: Lioryte Base 28230+mortscript 4.3β ~170MB free

Well, that was weird. I decided to give 28230 a try and had the exact same problem with the keyboard. Tried the trick mentioned above 10 times or so and nothing worked. So, I put my phone away for a while before going back to WM6.5. When I next turned on my phone, the keyboard had changed to the one I wanted. I don't know what happened or how it happened, but I guess I'll give 6.5.3 a little more time to see if I can get used to the other oddities. The keyboard was the biggest problem. However, does anybody know how to turn off the curtain at the top? It's the one with the magnifying glass in it.
Thanks.

Not sure which one in particular you are looking for, but when I first started flashing and lost a ringtone I liked somebody recommended zedge.net to me. I was able to find the one I had wanted and there are a ton more there. You might look there to see if you can find it again.

Great, stable rom bro! I have been using it for a week now and I love it. Do you know if there are any cabs that would add sound to the "unlock" event of the lock screen? I.E.. when I unlock my unlock screen I would like it to say "The Screen is unlocked" or play any other wav file.

Also, do you know of any cabs to change the dial pad background? The buttons are fine, I am just looking for a different background within the dial pad.

Re: Lioryte Base 28230+mortscript 4.3β ~170MB free

I'm finally testing wifi and I am having trouble connecting to my access point. Unless, I am completely sleepy and dumb, I cannot connect to my wireless router. I do not know what is going on. All drivers seem to be there. Any help on this would be appreciated.

****** Problem Corrected*******
If anyone else experiences issues connecting your wifi, just disable "Enable wi-fi power saving mode" under the power settings. Taking this action fixed my problem and I can now use my wifi.
