When you instal, are the icons kept in a program folder or in the Windows folder somewhere? It may be possible to skin some to different colors if they can be found on the device.

Now what would be really cool is if you could mix + match icons between the 4-5 taskbars he has posted in that thread, I really like a couple of the lower ones (Omnia and blazingwolf) but don't want to lose the digital battery readout, and I like the cubic start icon as well!!

The taskbar icons are found in several dll files. You have to change the resources in each of the files to get the look you want.

Sure you can. You just need to change the resources in the dlls. I mentioned what to do in the Titanium thread. It works the same here.

It's a pain in the ***. I'm building one from scratch for my theme, the way it looks it might end up being a skin. Anyhow, these are tough to do I'm having my brother in law make new icons. (He's a designer). I'm not so sure if I'll go one color or a colorful mesh I'm more for the solid one color. Was thinking to make 'em all green 100-60% power. all blue 60-20% and red <20%. No luck yet but we are working on it. Time is my enemy right now...
