I visited the link posted and from what you're saying, it looks like he "may" know what he's doing, just from reading the threads/testimonials but I dunno. That is a long way and I know for me, being without my cell phone for a week would be "torture" to my brain.

I would say just because of the distance but at the same time, as wolf stated, "would it be worth it" to you?

I like but I also like my setup now with the 'clear' background. Although when I make a selection, the actual icon displays the hexagon outline which is pretty neat. I dunno if that is in the rom/update or if it was from me using the wqvga bliss cab. Either way, GREAT JOB wolf!!

If 'lying' doesn't go to well, as if the rep doesn't believe you, then you could always do this number and proceed to tell them how "crappy" THAT phone was and demand another one, yeah? Or the conversation COULD go like this:
Either way, be sure to post the end conclusion so I can know what tactics to use if I ever "brick" my phone because I refuse to send it across country.

Re: [ROM] [WM6.5] blazingwolf Rock and Republic

It's the latest build of WM6.5, or at least the latest build available to port over to the Omnia.

Re: [ROM] [WM6.5] blazingwolf Rock and Republic

I like the ROM! Very nice job! I found a few bugs though. When you lock the screen and get a phone call, the buttons and touch interface are unresponsive. Another one is the GPS not working. I already installed the leaked rom awhile back. DO i need to reinstall it again? The final one I encountered is the doozie. When you lock the screen and push the top button to turn off the screen for a couple of minutes the phone doesn't respond to anything.

Other than that my phone's been faster. Thanks again!

hes got the gps figured out... one of the earlier posts he said he added the wrong dll file i think.. after the new rom is uploaded and you still have issues with gps, then try manual connection settings... choose com8 and a baud rate of 57600.. then give it a couple minutes to locate... on average for me after a flash and fresh install of gmaps it takes about 4min to lock onto 3-4 sat's in my apt...

So VZW is overnighting me a new phone. I didn't technically 'lie' to them...I just didn't tell them everything. Basically I just told the sales idiot that the phone wouldn't turn on...end of story.
