Any chance anyone has gotten smart reader to work on Adryns ROM. It seems to lock it up for me. I got the reader from the i900 repository if that may be a problem.

Anyone have a problem with incoming calls? Some people will call me, the phone lights up and rings/vibrates, but nothing else.

Edit: this is on the 1.5 ROM, I will probably flash to 1.6 tonight after work.

Ok, appears to be S2U2 that does this. Seems to be the issue I've found in this thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=60276 (post #6).

Just installed v1.6 and it appears to be a lot faster and more responsive. I also like the new Task manager. :headbang:

I just finished setting up 1.6 and now 1.7 is out. I can't keep up! What's different in 5.2.21051 from 5.2.20961?

Its newer. I don't have information past that. It also may be more, or less stable. Its marked as experimental.

there is something that drives me nuts and maybe you guys have a quick answer. If my touch screen is off and an email comes in, the touch screen turns itself on. How can I make it not do that? I want to hear the audible sound for the alert but I don't want the phone waking up every time I get an email. What happens is overnight I get a bunch of systems messages and the phone stays on for a couple of minutes before it turns the backlight off. I get a big drain in battery this way overnight if I am not charging. Any ideas?

in the start menu there should be an icon that says wakeuponsms config or something like that. Run that program and uncheck the e-mail option.

That was it, not sure how I missed that searching through the posts. I didn't hit MMS as a keyword, just email. Thank you VERY much, now the phone is pretty much perfect for me barring my minor external bluetooth GPS issue. =D>
