Re: Win Mobile 6.5 update to get capacitive touch, new keyboard

I still want dual touch. Dual touch is the only thing that I actually envy about the iPhone. Give me a TP with dual touch, and I'll be a happy man. I never use the SIP keyboard anyhow, I much prefer a physical keyboard.

We have known about this for a while so it's not news to us.

Re: Win Mobile 6.5 update to get capacitive touch, new keyboard

If you don't actually have a WiMo device with a capacitive screen then there's no real need for this upgrade (even though I'm using it lol). For some reason the new keyboard doesn't work for me though. It just shows the same old one.

Will WM Capacitive still allow a stylus? Capacitive screen is cool (especially with multitouch).

If HTC phones start coming with one. Most of them don't.

Capacitive Screen will give you multi-touch.

HTC filed a patent for a magnetic tipped stylus for use on capacitive screens late summer of this year. I would be surprised if it doesn't make it into the LEO/HD2.

Regarding multitouch, there's a cool YouTube video from PocketNow of the HD2 with Multitouch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvDReIZ5srQ
