Re: Dell android phone specs leaked
I think you people are all reading the wrong tea leaves. This phone launch says nothing more than Dell is entering the cell market in a developing country. The specs are going to look like it and so will the phone...
I would be complaining about the specifications if the phone was being launched in a developed nation, but that obviously isn't the case. I don't think you'll find many high end cell phone manufacturers launching high end devices in China and expecting mass adoption. I'll wait and see what Dell launches in the US. Their old Axim PDAs were regarded as the best Windows Mobile devices in their time and their warranty support is usually top notch. If Dell launched a capable Windows Mobile device in the US with a cell radio built in for CDMA I'd be dropping HTC faster than rain falls in the amazon. If you base your relationships around the materialistic items people own I think you need to see a psychiatrist... Fast. You forget where the phone is launching. China means the phone has to cost less and thus some things have to be cut. Even HTC is only just gearing up to enter china and they are planning the same very low end smartphones as Dell is doing...
