Who Needs WM Marketplace?
I, for one, would really like it. But since Microsoft hasn’t made it available yet, I must settle for something else - The HandMarket App Store by HandMark!
The HandMarket Apps Store will bring a huge selection of free and paid apps and games along with more then 40,000 ringtones to your Windows Mobile powered device. And HandMark has a reputation for making that process simple, quick and fun. Key Features are:

Re: Who Needs WM Marketplace?
Maybe its just me but I couldnt possibly care less about the WM Marketplace. But i generally research my applications that I pay for on my on pretty extensivly here, xda and wherever. And going to get them after that is easy.
I guess if it will bring down app prices by giving dev's a cheap distribution channel then I am all for it. The AppStore has done this for the Iphone and if MS can pull that off I may care about it. We'll see. |

Re: Who Needs WM Marketplace?
It has exactly the same problem as the handango windows mobile store app - there's no way to download the trial or demo version of any of the applications. Windows mobile applications are much more expensive than their iphone or android counterparts; it's highly unlikely that many people will plop down $30 for a simple utility like a replacement home screen / program launcher without the opportunity to try it first.
