SEPTEMBER 3.
So it puts it around the time of the latest rumors, give or take a few days. PhoneArena better be right!

wow...september 3
so..does that mean if the rumor is true for an august 27th release verizon releases a high end CDMA ppc in America before sprint when does that happen again???? muy interesante for the sprint folks...I am hoping for an online release a bit earlier though

I am just wondering now when best buy will have it?, they had the touch pro a week or two before the corporate stores had them last year.

hmmmm... the instinct already has a next gen device thats only a few months old.. guess the instinct is the new katana as far as sprint is concerned...
sprint already had a m330 device, it was a international device.. think it was right after the old apache came out, cuz its basically a snazzier version.. the rumor 2 has been out a long time... and you can change the plates on it,so i dont know why theyd release an orange one... and where are these nextel devices that are suppose to be out on the same day?? havent noticed any new FCC cleared iden devices in awhile.... since when has a phone carrier dropped, as the pic shows, 8+ devices on the same day??? good pic i guess, but whatever, when its here, its here

I think I'm going to pass on the tp2....for now.
While it looks to be a fantastic phone I don't want to sign a new contract just to pay $300, I'm going to buy the htc snap for 185 as a temp device and in 5 or 6 months i'll buy a touch pro 2 off of ebay for like 200 or $250 maybe if the touch pro 2 was sold for 200 on contract I would go for it but like thats ever going to happen

im willing to bet TP2 is 649.99 list price... new customer/upgrade perks, prob get it for 350.. TP1 was 299 after all deals...
theres still TPs for 200-250 and its almost a yr.. Tp2s will stay above 300 online easily fr quite awhile... and expect over $400 for quite sometime im guessin, as they wont be able to suply the demand... sprint didnt have enough PREs, and this is a way more anticipated device than the PRE tell ya what, ill get one, "lose it", get my replacement, and u can take it to metro...sell it to you for 200 LOL

i was thinking about waiting but i just got back from tmobile and the guy had one he let me see the phone it is nice the screen is huge and the phone felt firm and it was snappy but when i looked for the 3.5 headphone jack i didnt see one it had the same usb connecter as the tp
