you dont need to activate it. it's trying to get you to pay for it. if you don't select this it will go away but comes up everytime you restart. By the way, I had more luck installing the 1.11 version on my diamond, from attachment 4. not 7 & 8. also followed the method where you install pointui first, turn it on, then off, then install the two cabs. from the thread:

- Remove PointUI from Start > Settings > System > Remove Programs
- Delete \Program Files\Home2\ if there is anything still there.
- Download and install PointUI 2.1.0.6 from http://www.pointui.com/products/home-2/
- Enable PointUI from Start > Settings > Today > Items > Tick PointUI Home2
- Close the Settings window.
- Disable PointUI from Start > Settings > Today > Items > Untick PointUI Home2
- Download and install PointSenseSuite (QVGA or VGA) from the first post.
- Download and install PointSense.Homescreen (QVGA or VGA) from the first post.
- Re-enable PointUI from Start > Settings > Today > Items > Tick PointUI Home2
- Once PointUI has started go to Menu > Customize > Change theme - Apply PointSense theme.
- Go to applets window, remove all current applets you don't want and add PointSense applets.

This worked for me: on the list of attachments download number 4 which has the 1.11 version of pointsensesuite and pointsensehomescreen cabs zipped up. The reason I mention this is I installed pointui, then attachment 7 & 8 and it didnt work. thankfully someone mentioned that 7 & 8 were an older version so I followed the directions above on the second attempt and it worked. its a little hairy at first but once you set up the the weather (which will then prompt you on the homescreen to select your town), set up applets, it should run good.

yes, he's right. I had to set up weather first, find my city, then it will port over. May just need to soft reset. honestly it took me 45 minutes or more to get this running

Thank u that worked every time i tried i kept getting the app thing, i guess i wasn't holding it long enough

+1 on that. i'm using stock 6.1 and they don't show up on mine. every thing else is running pretty well.

ok

its all working but too many lockups for me. noticed weather didn't update since 5pm but the clock is still running. went to update weather, freezes. go out and noticed my data isn't working. reset and data was not working properly again, toggled data on/off and it worked again but tried update now again in weather, freezes again. of well, looks really cool but needs some work.

whats odd for me i dont get any thing but the wait cursor and the background when i try the calendar my phone locks same when i try the weather applet... with other applets like communication nothing shows up on the page same with point sense home and music i get the page but nothing shows weird.... i see people have it working on the diamond i followed every step im kinda lost and wanted to know if i may ask for a lil help thanks '

Juicy 8. Newest build. I had to repeat the process detailed on the website 3 times to get it to finally work.

im using NFSFAN's v12 rom, and idk if it plays any role, but the messaging, calendar, and camera icon dont work for me in the home screen, it sayd error openning the shortcut, where do i edit the shortcut?

I FINALLY got everything working great. Im using mightyROM6 also. Took me the whole 6 hour trip but everything is running smooth and perfect now, even got the weather on the front to work, just not on the Point.Sense Weather tab, it still will not load the weather but I can update it from the home screen

Now that I have everything sorted out, I want to add new applets to my phone, but everything is in a zip. file, and its not like I can drag it to my phone folder on my PC, and open it and install it on my phone, how do I add new applets?

btw did anyone else buy it for the 19.95? I heard you get a better customization and some other things..I thought about doing it since its really cheap imo..
