4G mobile network service coming to Lubbock
Lubbock Avalanche-Journal Tuesday, August 04, 2009 Story last updated at - Clearwire Communications announced Tuesday it wll begin offering 4G mobile network service in eight Texas cities, including Lubbock, Sept. 1. The Sept. 1 launch date also includes service in Abilene, Amarillo, Corpus Christi, Midland-Odessa, Killeen-Temple, Waco and Wichita Falls.Customers in these markets can activate service now via clear.com. Clearwire, based in Kirkland, Wash., will celebrate the official launches in each market with local events, retail store openings, ad campaigns and promotional offers throughout the fall. Yeah IDK why midgetville got it in GA.
It makes sense if you look at it like they want to make sure teh smaller markets work well b4 rolling it out totally... But they have had it in Bmore, Philly and some ski place in the West for a while now |
