htc to port hero UI to wm?

indeed thats what i meant to type I think I had the tp specs stuck in my brian or something.

the point is that that kind of resolution difference makes a pretty big difference. and the tp2 has a real kb (another obvious difference). AND its WM based, not android, so you can tweak it and port UIs and do all the fun stuff you're used to doing on your WM device. (unless android has as many tweaks and developers for their stuff, which, correct me if Im wrong) i dont think they do.

in theory Android could be just as customized as WM, Android is at heart linux based so developers should be able to do anything with it however since its a new(ish) platform with only 2 (almost 3) handsets globally not much has been done with it (yet hopefully). and TMo didn't do the U.S. developer base by position the G1 as a average friendly everybody type of smart phone which makes sense for business reasons but doesn't make it appeal to hardcore users such as ourselves.
I hope this changes soon b/c Android should be capable of doing a lot of cool stuff just not at the moment

and yes portions of Sense UI will be ported to WM probably as a replacement for TouchFlo, i think HTC has said that since they unveiled Sense
