I actually seen the t-mobile tp2 in person and it's a sexy looking phone these pics on the web don't do it any justice. You have to see it. Thats why i really have to hold judgement on the sprint one. But based on the pics the telus one looks pretty good

All that does is give you the unlock code to access the programming screen. You still have to activate the phone & in order to do this you must have Sprint activate the ESN, which they won't because the ESN isn't in their database.

Re: Touch Pro 2 coming to Telus!!!!!

Is the Telus version going to have the option of having sim card slot since it's going to be CDMA & GSM capable?

See the article @ PPCThoughts HERE

"Available later this month, the HTC Touch Pro2 smartphone will help TELUS clients stay in touch easily with a large sliding 3.6" touchscreen and full QWERTY keypad. The enhanced Windows Mobile 6.1 professional platform will enable users to sync their email, contacts and calendar with Microsoft ActiveSync, plus access applications such as YouTube on TELUS' 3G network and almost anywhere they travel around the world with TELUS international roaming."
  • Network support: 3G EVDO Rev A, HSPA, Quad-band EDGE to stay productive and entertained on-the-go while travelling abroad or across Canada
  • Optional microSD memory expandable to 16 GB to store documents, music, videos and photos
  • 3.6" 65k WVGA (800x 480) touchscreen
  • 3.2 MP camera/video with auto focus to take and share pictures with family and friends
  • Easy access to You Tube, Digital Photo Frame and weather
  • TELUS Navigator, TELUS Visual Voice Mail, TELUS mobile TV and more
So we will see it before the end of July, and it WILL support quad band GSM and CDMA networks. w00t.
News, all!

I feel the need to point out that it will support the HSPA network that's supposed to be coming out later this year. That means faster network speeds alright! Man, everything about this phone is coalescing into an orgiastic mountain of wonderfulness. GOD I WANT IT
