who cares really... i would hate to think people r going to spend 600bucks on a not so upgraded unit, just for a headphone jack... especially since the included phones are stereo headphones anyways....

just think now you get to spend 600 more bucks, get an argueably not better phone.....and now you can carry some nice bg headphpnes everywhere ya go.. have fun with that... ill stick with stereo headphones that fit into anywhere and already blow my ears out on my current TP

Are you confusing a 3.5mm headphone jack with a 1/4 inch headphone jack? 3.5mm is the normal headphone jack size, people just wont have to just the annoying adapter to use their OWN tiny headphones that sound 100x better than the ones they included.

Those sound like envious words lol. If you don't like the phone well that's you. I love the phone just like several others and to say argueably not better is just a joke. If anything you could of said it was almost equal to your touch pro. There isn't a single feature your touch pro has that the touch pro 2 won't have. But the touch pro 2 has many features that the touch pro doesn't have, now including a 3.5mm headphone jack. Not that big of a bonus for me because i prefer bluetooth headphones ( no wires). But i do music and it would be nice to actually use real headphones that i use in the studio on my touch pro 2 when writing music. To each it's own.

I wouldn't pay 600$ for the upgrade anyway, I will have a 2 year contract price, so it's more like 250-300.

Not to say I am for sure getting it, but like I said, it's more tempting! I want to see if Sprint plans on getting any Windows Mobile 7 phones in the first half of 2010... if not, I may as well grab the TP2 and just upgrade in another year and a half to a new phone.

Finally HTC makes phones fit for our media hungry needs. AT&T and T-mobile are not CDMA and will likely get the same phones as their GSM counterparts in Europe. Though I haven't seen any US GSM branded TP2s yet so that may change.

umm, no..im saying with the audio tweak, the stock stereo headphones wrk just fine and its not worth upgrading just for a headphone jack is all...

envious of what? a phone not even on the market yet?? and whats so much better a bigger screen? cool more battery use.. conference calling? odds are im in my office if im taking a conference call, especially since conference calls are usually scheduled and include more than just yourself...

umm yeah, so where the camera flash on this super great TP2??? oh wait, there isnt one... what r you gonna do, make more conference calls or take pics?? i take pics-have kids lol...

so yes ill stand by my statement that the TP2 is argueably NOT a better phone that TP1-especally since name one thing i cant have on my TP1 that the TP2 will have....

already have 6.5, rhodium, titanium..... so what again does the TP2 offer thats so much better?? again, a bigger screen...ooooooooooo, ahhhhhhhhh...wait thats just the sounds ill be making while i have to blow on it to keep the battery cool while charging since that screen will be killer....

TP2 cant do one thing that the TP1 cant already do and already has available for it
