Re: HTC Hero looks great!

Interesting. Looks as if AT&T will probably be getting the phone.

I just hope that the Sprint rumors are still true and that they've gotten over the whole, "android's not ready" thing. I'd be pretty jazzed to have an Android phone with this UI and a nice glass screen.

Re: HTC Hero looks great!

I can carless if sprint gets this phone to be honest. It definitely looks nice but i am more excited for my touch pro 2 and getting an offical 6.5 update. My phone after that will be a WM7 phone with a snapdragon or tegra chip, and i am not settling for less

Re: htc hero hit fcc

Is the phone going to be dual CDMA and GSM? The article mentions the bands AT & T uses for 3g, but indicates the phone is WCDMA, which would be non GSM. Or is sprint HCDMA?

not even worth it to tell you the truth... they've been working on it for so damn long, and its more functional on the GSM TP than the CDMA... you get messed up colors and not a clear resolution on the SPrint TP. On top of that, alot is not functional.

I bought a vogue just to have android on it (fully functional) but the 1.0-1.5 versions of android are so simple it gets boring after a few days.

The new hero interface has been ported and tested on a G1 but its hardware can't handle it, thus it runs SUPER sluggish... maybe some guys will optimize it, only time will tell.

anyways, wouldn't hope on it workin on the pro ever
