AT&T To Sell The Palm Pre
From the Wall Street Journal:
Chief Executive Randall Stephenson on Wednesday...he sees AT&T selling the Pre after the exclusive arrangement with Sprint expires. Read the entire article. I think AT&T will just come out with a fourth iPhone by the time the Palm/ Sprint exclusive agreement ends. |

Re: AT&T To Sell The Palm Pre
That's IF AT&T lets the contract expire soon. I read where they were in talks with Apple about extending it. They're probably going to keep it exclusive as long as they can since its one thing bringing in new customers for them. Once they let that contract expire, they would be screwed if Big Red got the iPhone. Now if it was Sprint, USC, or T-Mobile, then it probably wouldn't matter much, but they could lose customers to VZW if they got the phone.

Re: AT&T To Sell The Palm Pre
So you sayin with a $99 unlimited plan with the IPhone on Sprint's network isnt a threat to anyone one? I smell a comeback.... The HD and the IPhone?

Re: AT&T To Sell The Palm Pre
Unfortunately Sprint still has a bad image among a lot of people. I loved Sprint when I had them (my wife and her family still has them), and I would go back in a heartbeat if I wasn't getting free AT&T service.
It would probably help Sprint get some of their customers back, but I don't think they would be much of a threat to VZW or AT&T. |
