Huge news found here... If this is correct, after WM 6.5, there will be another WM 6.x released before WM 7 comes out!!!

i dont think im gonna buy a new phone until windows 7 is released. hopefully they get off their asses and put all their work in windows 7. i mean why are they wasting time making upgrades to 2 windows 6, when they could be putting all their effort into making a groundbreaking windows 7? it just doesnt make sence to me....

This is getting rediculous. I had been die hard to stay with WM, now they are just falling farther and farther behind. I really am considering getting a Pre and calling it a day.

I'm gonna agree with others. if there is another build after 6.5 that's not 7.0 Microsoft is digging their own grave. people should leave and let microsoft deal with the pain. with the ever changing mobile os there is no reason why microsoft should be pulling this crap

They are trying to continuously improve the WM 6.x base... Like how they work on Windows... Release Service Packs while working on the future version.. Also, the work they do now will only improve WM 7 when it does come out... But I agree with your point..

It seems like MS has delayed WM7 because it really wants to make use of the latest processors like the Tegra in the next major release. Just wish this didn't take so long!
