Well, I would wait until something offical comes from MS before acting.

If this James Young is saying he is acting on behalf of MS, he should be providing a phone number, and I would be interesting in calling just to verify his position.

and MS wouldnt do this themselves would they, wouldnt the dmla be who issues ceast and dissits??

DMLA? Do you mean DMCA? [Digital Millennium Copyright Act]

Thats not a group, its a pathetic 'document' that can be used to take down copyrighted material for pretty much any reason.

After the Patriot Act, its the most revolting part of the US legal system.

Lawyers live for paperwork. Until a certified or registered letter arrives, on Microsoft or law firm letterhead, this should be considered BS.

That's what i was thinking. Doesn't it have to be certified so they can prove the letter was recieved? E-mail seems jenky for a lawyer.
