theres not one thing about 6.5 or the newer tf3d, im excited about... besides u want 6.5, go get it, its basically on here.. how stupid is it that you wont be able to have today plugins, and theres no api for 3rd parties to do so either.. even the stock winmo today screen is 86'd..

just give me FM radio, a Keyboard, and picture mail thatll work consistently, thats all i ask lol

That's interesting. I wonder if they actually include some kind of utility to clean the entire ROM on preproduction devices. I suppose a utility that could launch into the bootloader then format the drive isn't that far fetched, but I wonder if any companies actually go that far. Also seems possible that the reporters may have simply misinterpreted what they were told. Remote wipe is a standard feature for enterprise devices, but that doesn't include wiping the ROM. Plus, you're relying on the assumption that the device has service and the radio is on.

There are lots of options for wiping phone remotely. I can wipe and lock any of the Blackberries that I manage directly from my server.

There are also provisions within Exchange to remotely wipe and WinMO phone.

Big brother is always a keystroke away! LOL

lol, yea i read a little something about exchanges ability.. that i did not know.
no telling what kind of experimental software was on that phone.

hopefully all the contents except personal data was taken before it was "wiped"
