Yes, the WM app store will definitely help the tech challenged, while PPCGeeks will continue to the be for the tech savy or just techie. Funny, I never thought of this site as a social site, but that's what it is!

yeeeeah I mean half the things we do to our phones microsoft wouldnt really want posted on their store front...lol cabs of their own leaked os...hacks fixing their sluggish outdated software. Im sure we aren't going anywhere...unless they start holding online instructor lead rom cooking classes for $19.99...with live video feeds directly to your phone.

Ok OP, first less noobs = fun times, why complain about that lol.. (sorry had to)

2nd, lets play out the idea of people going to an app store to get the DLs, now where are they all gonna go when they cant use em right, my guess is xda and ppc just like now.. kind of an example, people arent turning to garmin/tomtom etc to work it on their phone, they come here.. ok kinda skeychy emaple..

3rd, hopefully alot stays freeware through a winmo app store, because if not, im sure we'll have to worry about the ever taboo topic of "warez" and all the hopla..

4th i think alot developers will stay here and xda for the feedback, the appreciation of their efforts....and hopefully the limitless amounts of possible beta testers around lol..

and lastly i think this will certainly refine the current and future developers alike, as far as opeing the doors to a broader exposure of what other people are trying to do..

***hopefully if all goes well, we can use this app store to show microsoft the kinds of things End Users really want in a device...

If there is one central location to find those apps, then there are less people looking for answers on community sites like this.

that would be just wonderful if that was the case; alot less newcomers posting the same exact bull****, and not searching; asking for software in the wrong section, or even torrents

That would be no more scrolling through page after page in the TP section weeding out useless /r/ post for apps.
