Wow I love this new touch flo3d feature... The internet tab will now automatically download your bookmarks and keep refreshing them.. (it doesnt say how often) but that is damn good.. So when you click on your bookmarks the page loads instantly.. pretty nice... this version is WAYYYY more updated than the touch hd version... From what I understand this will have all the touch hd features plus a more "Pre-ish" contact tab.. It should bring together email, text, pic mail, and call lists.. And allow calls from emails.. I just dont see how I could get this over the current touch hd.. all it has is a better screen and speakerphone.. It needs at least wm 6.5 (maybe 7) and this new touchflo3d.. If it has 6.1 its a ripoff and they need to just hold on to it and upgrade the os and chipset as well..

US versions are almost always slighty different, but honestly, I think HTC will try to keep this as much as it is right now.

The 480 x 800 screen, OMG!!! And the new HTC SIP, I want that now!!!!!

My next phone will definitely not be another HTC or Windows Mobile device. They lost my trust with the battery/heating and other issues in the Touch Pro.

The Touch Pro 2 would have to be a drastic improvement for me to consider it.

sad, just very sad. The same people oagling the TP2/Diamond2 will be the same people in about 6-8 months starting threads- "why is my phone overheating," "why does my phone die charging," and the infamous "why does video performance suck on HTCs" (for a 3rd time over) all over again. People will never learn their lessons as apparent from the Touch/Mogul -> Diamond/TP.

The phones use the exact same internals, any issues with the Diamond/TP are MORE than likely to present themselves in the 2nd series.

At least a few here seem to have learned their lesson with HTC and not blinded by the oooo and ahh HTC tried to pull on its customers. If this is their 2009 offering (CDMA only sees one HTC round a year- 1 touchscreen 1 slider), its weak at best compared to the devices other manufacturers are releasing- Toshiba Snapdragon, Omnia HD (1080p output, 720p vid capture), etc etc. Much much more impressive specs and are in a different league.

i am completely underwhelmed by both these devices... i expected more, even though i know i shouldnt... (after lookin at HTC's history)
