Debating whether I should buy any nVidia. Already missed the Palm gravy train last month edit: I'm mainly kidding. Palm only jumped so much because it was so damn low before. |

Re: More Tegra buzz...
Nice battery is a biggie!!!
I think battery size is coming into play.. Pre has the 1500 mAH, Pro has a 1500 mAH. I would bet, 1500 is about to become the standard.

It will last longer with a 800 mAH then a current PDA with a 1500 MAH battery |

Re: More Tegra buzz...
Unless it has some magical battery, that likely is a pretty big exaggeration. The phone will still have to incorporate a screen and several radios, all of which are large power draws.

Re: More Tegra buzz...
" The Tegra is a "computer on a chip" which integrates CPU, GPU, northbridge, southbridge and primary memory functionality onto a single package"
Keywords there being Single package, where as snapdragon and also the speculated Atom for the iPhone 2 are split into two "packages/Chips" (Dualcore) Someone please correct me if i am wrong.

Re: More Tegra buzz...
Taken from the linked article.........
"Tegra is different from Intel's Atom processor platform--which is offered as a processor and a separate chipset. Nvidia puts all major device functions onto one piece of silicon. This makes it more akin to Texas Instruments' OMAP processors or Qualcomm's Snapdragon." |
